Pedestrian Dies in Northeast Philadelphia Crash on Roosevelt Boulevard
Northeast Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (February 6, 2018) – A female pedestrian was fatally struck by a vehicle Monday night in Northeast Philadelphia, according to a police report.
The accident took place at around 11 p.m. Monday, February 5, on the inner lanes of the Roosevelt Boulevard near Large Street in Northeast Philadelphia.
According to the police, the woman, in her 20s, was hit by a 22-year-old unlicensed driver.
Police said the pedestrian was rushed to a hospital for treatment where later succumbed to her injuries.
The cause of the incident remained unclear.
