Several Hurt in Bethlehem Township Crash on East National Pike
Bethlehem Township, Pennsylvania (August 11, 2018) – Several people were injured in a multi-vehicle collision on Friday afternoon in North Bethlehem Township, according to the State Police.
The wreck took place on 2101 East National Pike at around 2:45 p.m. Friday, August 10.
Police said a vehicle was traveling eastbound on East National Pike when it drifted into the path of oncoming traffic and collided with a westbound car. The impact triggered a chain-reaction collision that involved two other vehicles.
Police said there were multiple injuries in the wreck. At least one person was airlifted to a Pittsburgh hospital for treatment.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
