Toddler Injured in Lancaster Pedestrian Accident on Fifth Avenue
Lancaster, Pennsylvania (February 27, 2018) – A child was hospitalized on Monday evening after being struck by a vehicle on the city’s West Side, according to Lancaster Police.
The incident took place at around 6 p.m. Monday, February 26, on Fifth Avenue at the intersection of Washington Street.
Police said the child was in a stroller when it was bumped by a car traveling on Fifth Avenue.
The vehicle also struck a dog walking along with the family.
The child was taken to a hospital with unknown injuries.
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and said sun glare distracted their view.
The names of those involved were not released.
