2 Injured Seriously Hurt in Robeson Township Crash at Route 10 and Chestnut Hill Road
Robeson Township, Pennsylvania (February 27, 2018) – Two drivers hospitalized following a head-on collision Tuesday evening in Robeson Township, Berks County, according to authorities.
The accident took place at around 5 p.m. in the area of Route 10 and Chestnut Hill Road in Robeson Township, about halfway between Flying Hills and Morgantown.
Authorities said the collision involved two pickups which were driven in opposite directions on Route 10 at the time of the crash.
The collision caused both drivers to be trapped in their vehicles and had to be extracted by crews. The two victims were reportedly taken to Reading Hospital for treatment of serious injuries sustained in the collision.
Route 10 was closed in both directions for approximately an hour as a result of the crash, the report said.
