13-Year-Old Girl Injured in Auto-Pedestrian Crash on Hamilton Street in Allentown

Allentown, Pennsylvania (September 8, 2018) – A 13-year-old girl was injured in a Friday afternoon auto-pedestrian accident in downtown Allentown, police said.

The girl was struck on Hamilton Street just east of Second Street at around 4:54 p.m. Friday, September 7.

Police said the girl was crossing Hamilton Street when she was struck by an eastbound SUV. The impact threw the girl onto the vehicle’s windshield.

The crash left the victim with cuts, bruises, and burns. She was transported by the Allentown EMS to Lehigh-Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest.

The driver of the SUV remained at the scene of the crash.

The police are investigating the crash.
